WELLNESS
Conditions, not facilities.

Orientation, aperture, ceiling height, cross-ventilation, and where a building sits on its ground. These are settled in the first months of design and cannot be added afterwards.

Sites are chosen for what surrounds them. A park, a river, a station, a street already worth walking. Parking is provided and largely unnecessary.
The standard does not change between projects. What it produces does. Each site is read, then given what it needs.
The measure is not the specification. It is whether daily life is easier here than it was.
