Reference work runs for months before a drawing is issued, rooms, hotels, and details recorded over years of travel, then tested against the site in front of us. Very little survives that test.

Most developments invest in the impression a building makes at the point of sale. Geneva invests in the experience it provides over the life of occupancy.

Each palette begins with the fabric of the neighbourhood. Brick, render, and the proportions of what is already standing. It is carried inside the building rather than left on the facade.

Materials are selected for how they age. Stone, timber, brass, and plaster that read better in year ten than at completion.

Interiors arrive warm and deliberately unfinished. Volume, light, and surface are resolved. Furnishing belongs to the resident.

The apartments are designed twice. Once for the buyer, once for us, because we keep some.
